I Want to Throw a Party

If I had the time, and an awesome Ivy overhang (see photo below to see what I mean), I would steal these ideas and throw a party....whether it be a baby shower, a birthday party, or a "just because" party. How cute are the cupcakes on the tree stumps in the below photo?!?! I couldn't make the photos any smaller, so you'll have to excuse the extra large size....

The decor has a simple, anthropologie-esqe feel to it...very pretty, but not too overdone. I love it!

Nutella. Cupcakes. Cream Cheese. Frosting...Yes Please!

I have a few food blogs that I follow, and am constantly coming across more and more amazing ones. There are so many talented and creative people out there! I'm not sure how I came across it, but I found Tartlette a few months ago and have been smitten with her sinful looking sweets and equally amazing photography skills. You really need to go check out her blog; it's gorgeous!

The thing that sets Tartlette aside is that all of her recipes are gluten-free. I seriously had no idea that you could take absolutely every delicious sweet ever invented and make it gluten free. I don't feel so bad for all of those gluten-intolerant people now. But, for those of us who can eat gluten, she makes sure to include how to make the recipe with regular flour. Thank you!

I have yet to try one of her recipes, but when I do, I think this one will be the maiden voyage...

Fluffy Bedding

Slipping into a freshly made bed with just washed sheets is one of my favorite things in the world! Fluffy pillows, soft sheets, and the smell of clean linens...*sigh* Yes, it's the small things in life that make me happy. The duvet set in our master bedroom is starting to look a little dingy; it's been through a lot this past year. There are remnants of floor underlayment (nasty, gooey, gray stuff), and even a stain from bird poop (that's another story). Needless to say, I've been looking around.

I just so happened to find something that I like at Anthropology, of course. I will never bring myself to buy it, but I can dream.

Wouldn't you love to slip into that bed? I LOVE white bedding, it's so fresh and happy. But, they also have it in this fabulous grey. Pretty tempting, huh?

And check out the ruffle sheets...too cute.
Anthropologie, you have ruined me. Here's to trying to find a look alike that is more suitable to my price range...cheers!
