I Want to Throw a Party

If I had the time, and an awesome Ivy overhang (see photo below to see what I mean), I would steal these ideas and throw a party....whether it be a baby shower, a birthday party, or a "just because" party. How cute are the cupcakes on the tree stumps in the below photo?!?! I couldn't make the photos any smaller, so you'll have to excuse the extra large size....

The decor has a simple, anthropologie-esqe feel to it...very pretty, but not too overdone. I love it!

Baby Shower Love

A few of us girls threw a baby shower for one of my oldest friends this weekend. And by oldest I don't mean age, I mean that I have known her my entire life! It's a pretty cool thing, and hopefully one day our kids will be able to say they too have known eachother for their entire lives.

Lauren is having a boy, and she is due on May 2nd, but maybe the little guy will grace us with his presence sooner.
